Kaunas Regional Development Agency submitted the application in June, 2006 to Environmental Projects Management Agency of the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Lithuania in order to receive financial support for the Project “Promoting Environmental Procurement in Kaunas Region” implementation under the measure 1.3 “Improvement of Environmental Quality and Prevention of Environmental Damage” in accordance with the Single Programming Document (SPD) for Lithuania in 2004-2006.

The Agreement of financial support for the Project “Promoting Environmental Procurement in Kaunas Region”, N BPD2004-ERPF-1.3.0-05-06/0056 was signed between Environmental Projects Management Agency of the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Lithuania and Kaunas Regional Development Agency in January, 2007.
