  Investor tips

The following approach is considered highly effective and recommended for the investor:

  • Contact Kaunas Regional Development Agency. KRDA is appointed to give a support for investors in Kaunas region. The staff is highly aware of the domestic situation and performance of local companies and is experienced in working in an international environment.
  • Sector organizations and Chamber of Commerce are a good source of information as well, but usually do not have resources available to be of assistance in all the stages of investment process. Registration with the Chamber of Commerce is on voluntary basis but is payable.
  • Present general information about your company. Brochures, leaflets with information on company history, main products and activities, type of clients, international orientation, etc. are welcome. Word or PDF-versions of brochures are an excellent way to speed up this initial stage of contact.
  • Indicate interest to subcontract, invest, or both. Specify the range of products and activities you are interested in.
  • Get or find a list of companies that have indicated their interest to co-operate in particular activities. Ask for a list of at least five companies, different in size, structure, and equipment.
  • Organize a visit to these companies in order to check the information presented. This visit can be organized by the responsible project manager of the KRDA, with the help of the sector organization.
