KTU Regional Science Park (KTC) is a public institution and the first business incubator in Lithuania, established in 1998 with an intention to increase an efficiency of research and development (R&D) activities at the Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) and Kaunas region. KTC has more than five years of experience in assisting and supporting innovative and technology-oriented SMEs, start-up and spin-off companies in Kaunas region and Lithuania. KTC’s services include business and technology transfer consultancy, technical-administrative services, organization of workshops and training courses for entrepreneurs, access to laboratories of Kaunas University of Technology. The goals of KTC are:

• Stimulate development of SMEs’ in Lithuania;
• Create a favorable business environment for start-ups;
• Produce businesses that are viable and free-standing when they leave the incubator;
• Stimulate an entrepreneurship in high-tech sector;
• Stimulate creation of new businesses and jobs, etc.

Companies that begin activities in KTC get discount for rent of premises. They get discount for the first three years (for the first year 75%, for the second 50 % and for the third 25%).
