Description/condition of the land plot: Governor’s Administration of Kaunas County has made a loan contract with Kaunas City Municipality, according to which Governor’s Administration of Kaunas County gave over the land plot with total area of 2,3 ha to Kaunas City Municipality for gratuitous use, but not longer than for 6 years since the day of signing of the agreement (November 24, 2005). The main objective of using the land plot - land plot of other usage, and the method of the usage of the land plot; commercial objects territory; order – construction of trade, services and entertainment objects.

Kaunas City Municipality is planning to build Kaunas region holiday camp on this territory: the whole necessary infrastructure will be created (an engineering network will be connected, sanitary components will be built, and etc.) at the first stage of the construction. Thereto, Kaunas City Municipality has submitted application for the construction of Kaunas region’s holiday camp to EU structural funds. Currently, the application is in the reserve list of projects. If the support is not received, application for EU structural support of year 2007 - 2013 will be submitted. At the second stage the operator of the holiday camp will build and equip the administrative/leisure building and houses.

Suitability for tourism:

  1. The land plot is situated at the excellent recreational area, which from Lampedzio Lake can be reached easily.
  2. There is a  possibility of connection to the town network.
  3. Convenient geographical location of the land plot.
  4. The land plot can be easily found and is prominent from the motorway Via Baltica.

 Environmental requirements:

  1. The land plot is situated next to Lampedziai Park and the sanctuary of the confluence of Nemunas and Nevezis.
  2. The land plot is in the preservative zone of the motorway Via Baltica.
  3. There are no other protected territories in this area.

The types of companies located nearby: the land plot is located in the uptown of Lampedziai. Moreover, western detour of Kaunas City and motorway Via Baltica lie near the land plot.
