  Registration of a company

Company can be registered in the state company “Registru centras” (Register Centre). From the date of registration company can start commercial-economic activities, acquire rights and obligation in it‘s name.

After choosing the company type, you should submit incorporation documents approved by notary to Register Centre. Documents that have to be presented to a notary are subject to change depending on the type of company that has to be registered. Procedures of company registration may differ too. In order to register a company, notary verified documents proving disposal of premises should be presented. The fee for the verification of compliance of incorporation documents with the provisions of the law may differ from 49 to 101 EUR. The fee for verification of incorporation documents of branches and representative offices of all legal forms amount to 50% of the fee fixed for the company of a certain legal type.

Depending on company type, the registration procedure in Register Centre costs from 17 to 43 EUR, and registration of branches and representative offices of companies of all legal forms make 50% of the remuneration fixed for the company of a certain legal form.

The Register Centre must take a decision to register a company, branch or representative office or refuse to register within 10 days from the date of submission of necessary registration documents.

Total price for the registration of an enterprise increases, if investors hire consultancy firm for implementation of all the procedures of company registration. 

Before starting the notary registration procedure, it is recommended to reserve a company name in order to make sure no other companies having the same name already exist in the list of Register Centre.
